Mitch Creek

Mitchell Creek (born 27 April 1992) is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League (NBL)
==Junior career==
Creek is a former scholarship holder at the Australian Institute of Sport where he played 15 games in the South East Australian Basketball League in 2010 averaging 14.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. Before joining the 36ers for the 2010–11 NBL season he was a member of the Australian Under-18 team that played in the Albert Schweitzer International Tournament in Mannheim where he was tournament MVP.
At only 18 years of age, Creek played for Victoria in the 2011 Under-20 Nationals. He capped off an outstanding championships by claiming the gold medal with the successful Victorian team and winning the prestigious Bob Staunton award for tournament MVP. He was the leading scorer for Victoria as he averaged 19 points, as well as 7.6 rebounds and 3 assists per game. His team won 77-70 over a determined Queensland in the final.
